FANNY BAY SENIORS SOCIETY
Little Hall
We are a very active group with around 60 members. Join us at our regular general meeting held the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except July and August) at 2:00 PM at the hall. We support local seniors with social events like monthly potlucks, a summer picnic, a Christmas party, weekly cards and games, and fundraising events such as our annual Gigantic Garage Sale, and raffles and bake sales to offset our expenses. We welcome new members and volunteers - no age limit! Please join us.

Rental Information
Look no further for a place to rent for your next event. The Little Hall is 851 square feet in the main area plus kitchen and washroom. We have 65 padded chairs and 18 large folding plastic tables. In the kitchen, there are kitchen appliances, coffee urns, and 65 place setting of dinnerware and cutlery. Use of the kitchen must be negotiated with the rental agent at the time of signing the rental agreement. Our hall is adaptable to small and large gatherings including:
- Dinner parties
- Wedding receptions
- Birthday parties
- Family reunions
- Picnics
- Memorials
- Meetings
- Lectures
- Recitals
- Art displays
- Cultural and social occasions
Please Note: There is adequate parking with overflow parking along the road.
Fanny Bay Community Garage Sale
The Fanny Bay Senior Society is hosting a Community Garage Sale in Fanny Bay at the Little Hall (418 Ships Point Road, Fanny Bay, B.C. V0R 1W0) on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM.
This is both a fundraiser and community event to promote the recycling and reuse of gently-used household items. Priority will be given to vendors in the Fanny Bay area and then opened to people from other communities.
Vendors may rent tables on one or both days. A per-day registration fee is due with application - $10 for FBSS members / $20 non-members. Registration will not be confirmed until a signed agreement and payment is received.
Application opening dates:
- FBSS members: Anytime
- Fanny Bay community (VOR IWO postal code): June 17
- All other communities: July 8

Please Note: A damage deposit of $100 will be required at the time of signing the rental agreement for family reunions, wedding receptions and large parties. This will be refunded in full after the event if there is no damage.
