We are hosting a series of Rural Engagement events, and our first one is in Fanny & Union Bay! The Health Network has some resources to invest in poverty reduction in rural areas, and we want to hear from local residents about the gaps, needs and good work already happening in your communities. The voices we hear on November 1st will help shape how we invest in rural areas next year!

We will start with conversations about the place we call home:

• What do you love about your community?
• What’s missing that would help people meet their needs?
• Where should we invest to reduce poverty and make rural life better for everyone?

Then, we will break bread and share dinner amongst neighbours.

All local residents are welcome. No expertise or preparation needed.

Dinner and refreshments, transportation (gas & bus) cost and childcare vouchers will be provided. This event is fully free for attendees.
