Submission Information & Deadline
The mandate of the Fanny Bay Flyer is to promote activities and initiatives of the Fanny Bay Community Association. The Flyer accepts input from a variety of community-based groups and individuals but reserves the right to pass on articles of an inflammatory nature.

Opinions expressed in the Flyer are not necessarily those of the FBCA or the editor. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the Flyer’s content, neither the Association nor the Editor assume responsibility for any misprints or errors, which may appear in the information given and printed within.

Please keep in mind that the Flyer is put together by a volunteer editor – whose main job is to complete the layout over the course of a few days around deadline.

Please read through and follow these guidelines when making a submission:

Your submission should be approximately 200 words.

Your submission should be written without any formatting (ie: bold, extra spacing). You may indicate expectations but articles will be published in a style consistent throughout the Flyer as chosen by the editor.

It is not the job of the editor to provide copy writing services above those of minor editing and spell checking.
Other than graphics and images please avoid attachments. Text should be sent in the body of the e-mail. If this is not possible, .doc or .rtf file formats are acceptable.

Image files can be submitted as .jpg, .gif, .tiff or .png formats. See the Flyer Rates page for specific sizes.

E-mail submissions to: flyer@fannybaycommunity.com as soon as possible BEFORE the 20th of the preceding month.
