4:00 pm – Party begins
- 5:00 pm – Reading of ‘Twas the night before Christmas‘, followed by a visit from Santa.
- 6:30 pm – Short Christmas concert, followed by an opportunity for local kids to contribute a song. (This year’s concert songs: Jingle Bells, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Deck the Halls and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.)
Vanessa is Santa’s main contact in Fanny Bay. She needs assistance in the following areas:
- Set up and clean up.
- Hall decoration and song rehearsal on the 20th.
- Getting Santa’s gifts together for each child – while Santa is able to attend this event, his own elves are rather too busy to take care of this detail so close to Christmas.
- Tech assistance setting up the stage microphones.
- A volunteer to order and pick up a large meat and cheese platter.
- Someone to organize the hot drinks including hot chocolate, apple cider, etc.
